Reviving Wilted Produce

I think a green salad is a wonderful addition to a meal, but the lettuce must be really crisp. Soaking the leaves in ice water for a while and then drying them thoroughly is one way to ensure that it is.

I was about to share that idea with you when I read Carol Blymire’s article from the Washington Post, “Revive Wilted Produce to Fight Food Waste,” which takes the concept much further.
